Exciting DLC's Coming To 'Halo 5: Guardians': 8v8 Big Team Battle, Large Scale Maps and More

"Halo 5: Guardians" has an exciting new DLCs coming in the next few weeks.

Developers at 343 Industries have publicized via their own blog site that support for Big Team Battle will be coming the first-person shooter game with the next update. And that update is happening very soon. According to "Bravo" also known as 343 Industries Community Manager Andy Dudynsky, "In just over a week, the next Halo 5 content drop will be here, and with it comes Big Team Battle in Arena matchmaking, brand-new REQs, and a whole ton of juicy vehicular combat."

Moreover, 343 Industries also offered a glimpse of the four new large-scale "Halo 5: Guardians" maps in halowaypoint.com. Those big battle maps are the result of the collaborative efforts of the studio and the community's top forgers namely, Warholic, The Fated Fire, The Psycho Duck, Nokyard and Ducain23. They have helped forge the large-scale Big Team Battle maps with inspiration from iconic battlegrounds of the "Halo" series including Sidewinder or Avalanche, Standoff, Burial Mounds, Longbow, and Headlong.

There is a reason why 343 Industries have invested so much effort in adding those maps to "Halo 5: Guardians." According to Gamespot, the most substantial addition coming to the game is 8v8 Big Team Battle game option for arena multiplayer. These maps have been made with "Halo 5's Forge tools," which is another big thing that is coming before the year ends.

The Forge Tools were not available when "Halo 5" was launched but these tools have been a "Halo" tradition since "Halo 3." Forgers won't be missing them anymore as "Halo 5's" forge tools will be added in the next month. Aside from the new maps and the return of the Forge Tools, "Halo 5" players can expect more content and tweaks coming such as updates for Warzone assault, the SWAT respawn time being updated to 3 seconds and addition of seasons and seasonal rewards to name a few.

"Halo 5: Guardians" is now available exclusively for Xbox One.
