'Just Cause 3' Update: Gameplay Runs 900p on Xbox One at 42.49GB, 1080p on PS4 with Undetermined File Size; Which One to Go for?

"Just Cause 3," according to Avalanche studios, will keep running at 900p on Xbox One and 1080p on PS4. The game can extraordinarily render differed resolutions on every gaming console.

"Just Cause 3" game director, Roland Lesterlin, shared with Gaming Bolt that, "The game runs at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One. We do so much with physics and screen space effects, that we are confident our players will thoroughly enjoy themselves no matter the platform they play the game on."

The "Just Cause 3" video, however, was shared by Gamespot through its Reality Check episode where it was found out that many gamers still find it hard to identify the exact difference in resolutions and frame-rate between Xbox One, PC and PS4.

"Just Cause 3" was developed by New York's Avalanche Studios and it is an open-world game combined with exclusive opportunities for vehicular carnage and explosive gameplay.

Recently, a thorough technical analysis was done and showed that "Metal Gear Solid V" Xbox version holds its own true over the PlayStation 4 version. Whether the high resolution is perceivable or not, such thing is viewed as a PR obstacle for Microsoft.

Though many "Just Cause 3" players may not be able to tell the difference between 900p and 1080p, it is the most up to date game that can provide a high resolution on PS4; with most recent samples, including "Metal Gear Solid V" and "The Witcher 3." The last two were the two "Game of the Year" contenders.

"Just Cause 3" game needs 42.49 GB space on Xbox One hard drive, while for both PC version and PlayStation 4, the file size has not yet been announced.

"Just Cause 3" is set to be out on Dec. 1 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation, VG247 reported. It is indeed a matter of debate whether gamers can exactly identify the difference of the game's resolution. Nevertheless, everyone is celebrating with the news that "Just Cause 3" will run at 1080p on PS4 and 900p on Xbox One.
