Stefani-Shelton Update: 'Female Vocalist of the Year' Miranda Lambert Not Shocked as Flirting Started Years Before; Emotional 'Bathroom Sink' Performance for Ex-Husband?

"Nashville Star" Miranda Lambert has said her piece about former husband Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's relationship.

Lambert tried to keep silent about ex-husband Blake Shelton's newly confirmed relationship with Gwen Stefani. Although the "Little Red Wagon" singer admitted that she was not surprised by the announcement. Her performance at the Country Music Awards also seems to say a lot about how she really feels.

"No Doubt" front-man Stefani, who recently got out of a 13-year marriage, and Shelton, who was married to Lambert for four years, finally made their relationship public. A representative of the "Austin" singer, Shelton, gave an official press release on Nov. 4 to FoxNews stating that "Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating."

What seems to be a little odd was how quickly both Stefani and Shelton appeared to have moved on from their long-term relationships, most especially the latter. This apparently did not sit right with Lambert, who was silent for a while after the divorce, but now finally chose to speak regarding the affair.

Lambert admitted that she was not at all surprised, since both her ex-husband and Stefani had constantly been quite flirty with each other even when she and Shelton were still a married couple, E!Online reported. Further, sources also say that while Lambert was not surprised that Shelton turns out to be dating Stefani, what really shocked her was how quick they made their relationship public.

The Country Music Awards was scheduled to happen on the same day, Nov. 4, hours after Stefani and Shelton's relationship was confirmed. Being both country artists, Shelton and Lambert attended the awards show. Although everyone anticipated that things would get awkward between Lambert and Stefani, all three of them acted civilized.

When it was time for her to perform at the awards show, the female country singer was not able to hold back her tears and she presented a pretty emotional performance of "Bathroom Sink." Meanwhile, Shelton put on a very upbeat performance. Even so, both artists did very well and looked stunning. Before the night came to a close, Miranda was awarded "Female Vocalist of the Year."

Lambert and Shelton both disclosed that neither of them had hard feelings for each other.
