'Diablo III: Reaper of Souls' Update: Patch 2.4.0 Brings Changes to Adventure Mode, Legendary Items, Two Features; Greyhollow Island Promises You'll Never Return

"Diablo III: Reaper of Souls" will have Patch 2.4.0 really soon.

Blizzard, the name behind the popular action role-playing game (RPG or ARPG) Diablo III, along with its expansion Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, has finally unveiled the details of the upcoming update of the IP, Patch 2.4.0, during the BlizzCon 2015 event that happened just recently.

The "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls" game developer, Blizzard, has finally released the essential contents that they will be adding and changing in the fast approaching Patch 2.4.0, Battle reported. The awesome thing about this latest patch is that it will introduce a new area in the "Diablo" lore called the Greyhollow Island.

Blizzard used the description "mysterious forested locale" during the announcement. The company also added that it is steeped in intrigue. Rumors abound that those who visit the area are doomed to never return.

"Diablo III: Reaper of Souls" players should keep in mind that Greyhollow Island is not for everyone. The developer pointed out that this new area is only available when gamers play on the "Adventure Mode." Therefore, gamers must have the "Reaper of Souls" expansion first before they can even start exploring this map.

Apart from the latest area, "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls" Patch 2.4.0 will also showcase a much expanded version of a number of areas, which include the "Royal Quarters," as well as "The Eternal Woods," which are available only on Adventure Mode, PC Gamer reported.

Reportedly, Blizzard is said to revamp a couple of the set items in the game. Adding new legendary items in the list will also happen soon. Based on Blizzard's post, they will be adding more than 40 new legendary powers. Apart from that, the company will also be establishing two features, which include "Empowered Rifts" and "Set Dungeons."

"Diablo III: Reaper of Souls" Patch 2.4.0 will be rolling out a couple of weeks after the recent BlizzCon 2015 event. No specific dates were announced, so fans can visit the official blog post for more details.
