"Star Craft" and "Warcraft" franchises, which are both from Blizzard, still have numerous untold stories; however, the fans will have the final say on how "Star Craft III" and "Warcraft IV" will be finalized.
Blizzard's Tim Morten has unveiled during the Gamescom 2015 event that the two hit real-time strategy games from the company, specifically the "Star Craft" and "Warcraft" franchises, still have a plethora of untold stories. Now, it looks like the plans for "Star Craft III" and "Warcraft IV" will have a greater chance of transforming into fruition depending on the feedback from the fans, the Australia Network News reported.
"Star Craft II" lead game developer, Tim Morten, revealed a couple of things with regard to the possibility of the next installments in both franchises, as reported by Game Sport. He pointed out that the company's primary focus as of the moment is the current IPs that they are developing, as well as the most awaited, next expansion for the RTS game "Star Craft II: Legacy of the Void."
"What the future holds really depends so much on what we hear back from players. We love RTS, we love this genre," Morten said. He also added that the "StarCraft" universe is fantastic while the "Warcraft" has apparently a lot of stories to be told. He also shared that there are new Blizzard IPs, which makes it possible for new stories to come through.
"Star Craft" and "Warcraft's" Morten also stressed out that the decision for a new installment is completely dependent on the fans' reaction and feedback. More so, the lead developer unveiled that the reason why they have not made the final decision yet for either "Wacraft IV" or "Star Craft III" is that they are still focusing on "Legacy of the Void."
"Star Craft" and "Warcraft" developer company Blizzard wants to hear more from the players about what they are looking forward to, as well as the things that would excite them.
