‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Spoilers & Updates: GoT Director Shares Major 'Spoiler' for Season Finale; Will the White Walkers Appear?

"Game of Thrones" director Miguel Sapochnik revealed that something is coming in the finale of Season 6.

Sapochnik's Twitter post showing the clapperboard for episode 10 of GoT season 6 is probably the most telling of all spoilers since it is as close to a season teaser as anyone could get. In the clapperboard, the episode is written along with the slate, the date of filming and the number of takes taken during the particular scene. However, what is most compelling is the unit label, which spelled out "White Walker Unit."

Avid fans of the "Game of Thrones" have already been coming up with theories as to how the season 6 would end, when the show has not even started yet. One theory with such nature, according to Independent UK, speculates that the season will conclude with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) battling the Boltons, the family that betrayed the Starks.

Yet, with the latest spoiler coming straight from the person helming "Game of Thrones" Season 6, everyone is now thinking that the White Walkers will make an appearance in the season finale. Hence, it only makes sense that Fabian Wagner, the director of photography in the "Battle of Hardhome" episode in season 5, is listed in the season 6 finale, according to Metro.

Earlier reports already mentioned that the "Snow Bowl," Jon Snow vs Boltons, was already being filmed. However, the particular scene does not include any White Walkers so fans can expect that these frozen zombies are wreaking havoc somewhere else.

Avid "Game of Thrones" fans still should not get too excited with the latest GoT spoiler. A few hours after Sapochnik posted the clapperboard, he took again to Twitter to dismiss speculations about the season 6 finale. In a follow-up post, the GoT director apologized and said the "White Walkers unit" refers to a crew of the series and not what the production is filming.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 filming is nearly close to wrapping up. Fans of the hit fantasy series can expect to get further updates until the release of the first teaser for season 6 in late December or early next year.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is set to premiere on HBO in late April or early May 2016.
