Robert Pattinson, the "Twilight" leading man, is not depressed nor calling off his engagement to fiancée FKA Twigs.
Contrary to recent speculations, Pattinson is not suffering from depression. According to Gossip Cop, the claims regarding the "The Lost City of Z" star's mental condition have not been backed up with substantial evidence. There is even no evidence of any sort that the 29-year-old actor is struggling with the mental illness.
Last year, Kristen Stewart's ex and "Twilight" co-star admitted that he was struggling with depression but was too anxious to see a therapist. He further mentioned that he talked with people about his condition and that fortunately for him, his depression would not last long.
Speculations are circulating that one probable cause of the "Remember Me" actor's depression is his dwindling relationship with fiancée FKA Twigs. Other rumors suggest that the two are close to breaking up. However, according to a friend of the couple, the two are just holding off their engagement due to busy schedules.
Twigs, 27, is currently busy promoting her career as a singer-songwriter, while Pattinson is busy filming a Brad Pitt movie, Parent Herald reported.
Pattinson will next be seen on the big screen in "The Lost City of Z" co-starring fellow British actor Benedict Cumberbatch. The film is set to be shown in 2016. Two more movies are lined-up for the actor to star in: "The Trap" and "Good Time."
Debunking the rumors that the Pattinson-Twigs romance is headed for break-up, the couple was seen together at the recent 2015 MOBO Awards in London. Although the two did not grace the red carpet together, they were seen inside the event laughing and appearing to be very happy, contrary to previous reports.
A source told E! that the couple is doing well and although they have conflicting schedules, their relationship has not gone sour.
