Square Enix Confirms Moogles For Upcoming 'Final Fantasy XV'

Square Enix has just confirmed that moogles will be included in the upcoming RPG "Final Fantasy XV."

Square Enix recently conducted a Twitter poll to know if fans wanted to see moogles in the adventure game. The said Twitter poll has fetched 78 percent in favor of the cute rodent-resembling companion. Following the poll was a note from the developers saying that the results of the poll might not guarantee that moogles will be added. Apparently due to insistent demand, Square Enix has decided to have moogles in "Final Fantasy XV."

Moogles, the white fluffy rodent-like creatures, have been a part of the "Final Fantasy" lore appearing in majority of the "Final Fantasy" games since it first appeared in "Final Fantasy III." But with the new and improved graphics of the upcoming RPG, it seemed hard to imagine how moogles would blend in.

According to Eurogamer, game director Hajime Tabata has confirmed via Twitter that they have added moogles. The most recent tweet pertaining to this reads, "Hi Tabata here. Congrats Moogle! I'd like to thank everyone that voted. I will think of a fun little way to feature Moogles in #FFXV. Importantly, at this stage of development I will not be making a trade off with the other work remaining in order to fit them in. So it won't be a very chatty Moogle, but will be done with a suitably light level of development work as a fun little #FFXV extra."

The addition of moogles to "Final Fantasy XV" should not worry fans because it doesn't look like it would ever delay the game's release. Tabata has announced via another tweet that "the pre-beta version of #FFXV is complete." The game is still expected to be released in 2016 on PS4 and Xbox One.
