‘Halo 5: Guardians’ Updates: New DLC Pack Coming in ‘Just More Than a Week’ After Record-Breaking Release; Garnering 21 Million Hours of Gameplay; Brand New REQs Teased by Developers

"Halo 5: Guardians" had a very good week when it comes to hours of gameplay and of course, SALES! Now the video game itself is off to get even larger with a new DLC add-ons to debut anytime soon.

The latest installment in the "Halo" franchise, the 5th reiteration of "Halo 5" offers the series' total sales more than $5 billion with $400 million of that from "Guardians" on the first week after its release.

As for the gameplay, more 21 million hours have been recorded so far for "Halo 5: Guardians", according to the game's development team on 343 Market, they got some new things coming in just a matter of week.

Based on the official blog post (official website) of "Halo 5", a larger Big Team Battles where a handful of new maps in Arena matching that were customed by both "Halo 5" community and 343 team, classic 8 vs 8 battles are coming back, a lot of new vehicles and brand-new REQs to expand the havoc. Only partially done graphic are hinted and they might be released by next week. As for the REQ the developers teased Green Machine and Tracer Armor set.

Aside from the forthcoming DLC pack for "Halo 5: Guardians" Scott Sims and Chris Kong, the lead engineer and designer of the game, also talked about the new aiming systems and controller fixes in the blog.

Finally, the developers are talking about the coming fix that will "slow turn" the bugs some gamers have encountered on their "halo 5" controllers. Moreover, the team identifies that while a "small volume" of gamers may see their new aiming system as "a shade more difficult as it should be," most gamers are adapting quite good it any way.
