‘Superman’ Should Get Own Video Game Treatment from Rocksteady Studios; After the Huge Success of ‘Batman Arkham Knight’ [VIDEO]

Superman has not received any good video game treatments for a long time now. "The Death and Return of Superman" is the last and most enjoyable video game that gamers have played via Sega Genesis. Don't you think it is about time for Rocksteady to work on a Superman video game, after working on three Batman video games under Time Warner Inc?

Conventionally, Superman is not a dark character like Batman, but more a symbol of hope. The hero named Kal-El's life was ended during Doomsday in the comic book. The Man of Steel can be built to play some of the most treacherous villains like Doomsday, General Zod and Lex Luthor. Furthermore, "The Last Son of Krypton" never had the best video games, even its last on Xbox 360, as well as "Superman Returns."

Superman could have a three-plot arc that would work well talking about his origins and escape from Krypton, and his life in Smallville, Kansas. Followed by a second game about his life in the Metropolis where he became friends with Lois Lane and meets Lex Luthor, the supervillain. Superman will change between himself and Clark Kent, some important events will also occur while he works as Clark at the Daily Planet.

The game should be lighter and brighter in order to be different from the "Batman Arkham Knight" games, because not every superhero game needs to be dark and tortured like the Dark Knight. The games could even feature other Justice League superheroes like Wonder Woman. Frankly, it seems like DC is planning to make its film franchises, although it can work well for video games as well. How about a "Green Lantern" or "Flash" game? Let's all hope that Rocksteady Studios will develop a Superman video game, as fans have wanted this for a very long time now.

In all honesty, it sounds like DC's plans are for its movie franchises, but it can even work for video games. Imagine if all this results in a Flash or Green Lantern game. Let's hope Rocksteady Studios delivers the Superman game we all have looked forward on.
