Peter Reckell has returned to the daytime soap "Days of Our Lives" in lieu with its celebration of 50 years on television. But rumors have it that Peter's stay is just for a short time only and he could be gone for good as his character, Bo Brady, is going to be killed off.
After yesterday's episode, Peter received positive feedback and messages about his performance and the likely demise of his character. In response, Peter wrote, "OMG You guy's r amazing! Thanks so much for the passion, support, love, and understanding!!!"
"Being Bo has been an amazing journey, very rewarding...life-changing!. Being Lodens Dad has open my heart to emotions I never knew I had," the actor added.
A longtime DOOL fan, Kellie Fogg, said to Reckell, "thanks 4 taking us on a wonderful journey as Bo. Enjoy what ever life brings you. Going 2 miss Bo. U were amazing today." Reckell replied, "I too will miss Bo.! Thanks for the support!"
So is it really the end for Bo?
When a fan tweeted Peter, "please tell us this is a lie. I can live with Jon Snowe and Glenn dying but not Bo," he only responded with a smiley.
It has been revealed that Kayla found out that her brother has a brain tumor. She handed him the bad news and explained how surgery and chemotherapy are not an option for him. Bo asked how much time he is left. Kayla said hopefully months, but added, "If you were my patient, I'd tell you to plan for the worst." Bo was devastated.
In addition to "Days of Our Lives," Peter Reckell is known for his role in "As the World Turns" and "Shades of Love: Moonlight Flight." The Daytime Emmy Award nominee and Kristian Alfonso (Hope) won America's Favorite Couple in 2001 and 2002.
