Mark Wahlberg's former home in Beverly Hills is being listed on the market for $30 million. Forbes reported the listing as a paradise destination on a 1.5-acre lot overlooking the mountains.
The main house, 11,500 square feet in size, has seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It features a Mediterranean-inspired design with tiled roofs and cream-colored walls. The living room takes on an open concept and flows through the formal dining room and the sitting room with a pool table. The massive kitchen also employs an open design and has huge windows that takes in natural lighting. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and an informal breakfast area.
The estate also has a movie theater, children's wing and a separate two-story, two-bedroom guest house.
Outside, there is a 12-foot waterfall which cascades into a swimming pool with a water slide, spa and grotto.
Wahlberg, who is known for his Hollywood blockbusters such as "The Departed" and "Ted," lived in this compound from 2001 to 2013. He sold it to the current owner for $13 million, who has since given the property substantial renovations while retaining some of the actor's personal touches.
Wahlberg, a known Boston Celtics fan, had a private basketball court built on the grounds, complete with an engraving of the team's Lucky the Leprechaun mascot. The court still stands, as well as the two-story, 2,500-square-foot gym the actor has previously installed. The gym is decked with professional equipment, including a boxing ring. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is where Wahlberg trained for his role in the 2010 movie "The Fighter."
The estate is tucked in a gated, exclusive community where other famous celebrities such as Demi Moore and John Voight also reside. The listing is handled by Coldwell Banker Previews International.
