After celebrating 50 years in daytime television, "Days of Our Lives" held a fans day for its thousands of followers last Saturday, Nov. 14, at the Universal City Walk in LA. According to Soaps She Knows, fans got the chance to freely meet the cast members, get their autographs, participate in a Q&A session, and play trivia games in between.

Almost all cast members were present and gamely posed with fans for pictures. Glamour Magazine spotted "DOOL" veterans such as Peggy McKay, Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols, who brought his iconic eye patch to the delight of his fans.
We asked which scene was their favorite to film. They said it hasn't aired yet! Lots to look forward to...
Thaao Penghlis, who plays the villainous Andre DiMera in the soap, also graced the event.

Deidre Hall, who plays Marlena in the soap, came with on-screen partner Drake Hogestyn, who plays John. John-Marlena fans went wild when Hogestyn teased the crowd by taking Hall in a tight embrace during the Q&A portion.
Chanda Camese, a "DOOL" fan since 1989, was clearly delighted. "I have met Deidre [Hall] three times I think, but not Drake [Hogestyn] yet!" she told Glamour. Camese came all the way from New Orleans. "I'm really excited and trying to hold it in!" she added.
Galen Gering, who plays the dashing Rafe, also teased about a possible Rafe-Hope romance. "You'll have to see which way that's going to be," he told the fans.
One of the longest lines for autograph signing was the station of fan favorites Billy Flynn and Kate Mansi, a.k.a. Chad and Abigail. Flynn could not believe the event's huge turnout and posted a video on his Instagram account.
"Mayhem!" he wrote in the caption.

Later that day, fans used the Q&A portion of the program to express their gratitude and appreciation for the actors and producers of the long-running show. "You're like my second family and have gotten me through so much," one fan quipped.
