Khloe Kardashian has faced a number of tough challenges this year. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has found herself in the midst of various controversies: Lamar Odom's hospitalization and battle for life, her stepfather Bruce Jenner's transition into a woman, and just recently, her Twitter bouts against her haters.
Kardashian, 31, got married to former Los Angeles Lakers' player Lamar Odom in 2009. She filed a divorce in December 2013 but then called it off last October following Odom's hospitalization. The reality star is said to continue to stay by the ex-NBA player's side even after his alleged drug overdose and while he's still in the process of recovery.
During a recent interview with Today, Kardashian shared details about Lamar's condition. She was grateful that Odom was not reliant to life-saving machines anymore.
"He is learning how to walk again and learning ... cognitive therapy and speech therapy," she said. "They think, like, within a year and a half to two years that, mentally, he might be fully recovered." However, Kardashian knew that it could still be uncertain.
The reality star and the youngest of Kardashian sisters also finally cleared the reasons of why she stopped the divorce proceedings.
"I was expediting the divorce prior, and I'm still separated with him, but I'm just not expediting them anymore," she explained. "There was no reason for it. And also, [it's] in his will that I'm always the medical adviser. And it was just - he had no one else to make these decisions for him."
Following her battles on Hollywood Life, Kardashian was bashed on Twitter after tweeting about the basketball game of her boyfriend James Harden, with some people criticizing her for betraying Odom.
The fiery Khloe Kardashian put her haters into their place by tweeting back, "You should have said those to the man who went against all our vows. Judge yourself. Fuck off." She gave yet another steamy answer to another hater: "Divorce is still going forward. Doesn't mean I won't be there through sickness and health. I've proven that."
The TV personality seemed to have responded to her haters the way she had following her stepfather's transition into becoming Caitlyn Jenner.
During her interview, Kardashian shared how she handled Caitlyn Jenner's expose. "Verbally, I've handled it the worst 'cause I'm so honest," she said. "And I'm just so, like, aggressive with the way I talk. So I'm always the one to be a bad guy, which I'm also okay with. But probably I took it the hardest."
Khloe Kardashian just showed her boldness for dealing with all the battles she had fought this year.
She even recently released a book, "Strong Looks Better Naked" to inspire other women on how to gain strength, confidence, and real beauty in their everyday life.
