"Closure," the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 episode 9's title, puts Phil Coulson in a difficult situation wherein he might burst out of anger, and this state will lead him to eliminate Grant Ward.
This spoiler is obviously very interesting since avid viewers see Coulson as a very patient man when it comes to dealing with the bad guys. But reports state that Coulson's "temperament may change on Ward (Brett Dalton) as his former agent, who was actually a spy and HYDRA member [who] seems to succeed on his goal this season."
The synopsis of the upcoming episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 has already been released. From the report of Comic Book, the précis of "Closure" episode reads: "Grant Ward's campaign for revenge brings the S.H.I.E.L.D. team to their knees, and Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) proves he will do anything to settle the score."
IBTimes on the other hand, mentions that "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 3 episode 9 will expose the darker side of Phil Coulson. This might be unbelievable, but reports say "that Coulson will take on a darker role in the upcoming episodes. He will finally go against Ward, after realising that Gideon Malick (Powers Boothe) ruined his relationship with Rosalind Price (Constance Zimmer) and making other Inhumans suffer."
Carter Matt says that before the mid-season finale, fans will be seeing huge twists in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3. All these talks are actually assumed upon the release of the episode 9 preview.
