'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' Gets Two New FOB Events

"Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain" has no content dedicated for singer player, instead Konami has put FOB events in place to allow players to gather MB coins and other resources. Now Konami has released to new FOB events for the stealth video game which will grant players lots of GMP.

According to Geek Snack, the two FOB events are "The New World Order" and "FOB Infiltration Challenge Event." The former involves infiltrating a special FOB containing seven platform types. Penetrating the core of the first and last platforms will grant players some S+ staff while invading the core of the other platforms give players with A++ Staff corresponding to the unit. Soldiers with higher S+ Staff or A++ Staff are tougher and stronger.

On the other hand, "FOB Infiltration Challenge Event" give players varied amounts of GMP corresponding to the total Espionage Points attained between now and Dec 1. According to "Metal Gear Solid" FAQ, for example 1 million GMP is rewarded for 100 espionage points, 1.5 million GMP for 500 Espionage points and so on.

"Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain" just got a massive update on all major platforms. It reportedly ended PS4 save bug problem and with the said update, Quiet gets reunited with the players instead of disappearing after Mission 45. However, as one player has shared via Geek, a player must replay Mission 11 several times until mission description said "Reunion" instead of "Replay." It looks like Konami wants to give more exciting content to fans but in a very challenging way.

So in another forum, one players has shared that "The New World Order" is very difficult and one player commented, "Yeah, it's much harder than Mosquito's Legacy. It's still fairly easy if you kill everyone though. That said, I still died once because I got impatient on the top of the R&D core."

This only means that big rewards come with hard work. "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
