Based on the reports of the "Star Wars Battlefront" developer, the game has been the largest debut of a "Star Wars" video game and is also the biggest digital release in the history of the studio.
Gamers on PC, Xbox One and PS4 have broken more than 15 million AT-AT, although these seems like a good statistics, no evident information has been disclosed when it comes to sales.
Patrick Soderlund, Executive Vice President of EA Studios, focused on the issue of "Star Wars Battlefront" content which has been tagged as one of the major challenges of the game.
"Battlefront" appears to have limited weapons, gamers have been tilling time into the game, and lacks a story which also points out that it could work with some new packs.
This is what Soderlund is talking about, and the game will have more, beginning with "The Battle of Jakku DLC" which is 29 years before the much anticipated "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in the post "Battle of Endor."
DICE and Lucasfilm will have a new mode named "Turning Point" and two maps set on Jakku, which includes catching three Empire-held camps. Soderlund verified in a new update online, that this update is just a start. He further said via Express.co.uk, "We have lots of new content coming over the next several months that will provide new ways to immerse yourself in Star Wars."
Soderlund also announced that "Star Wars Battlefront" updates will be launched with free new locations and new items, as well as paid content.
EA is also planning to back up "Star Wars Battlefront" with new content in the future updates. Soderlund further explained that they will be putting more add-ons based on what the gamers like about the"Battlefront," like Star Cards and new maps, which will be out for free in the next few months. Moreover, the Season Pass will be out soon, as Soderlund happily concluded in his announcement, Forbes reported.
