The upcoming "Clash of Clans" update is set to bring a wide range of changes to make the game fairer, bring more focus on attack and flexibility in shield times and playing sessions. One of the major revamps include changes in Town Hall, making it a primary loot target and giving more reason to protect it.
The first week of sneak peek to the COC game update this December is done and Clash developer Supercell has explained the upcoming changes to attacking and defending, personal breaks, loot, league bonuses and trophy offers, and introduction of village guard.
Speaking of shield time and loots, players would now be better off putting their Town Halls inside the defense wall. With the upcoming COC update, destruction of Town Halls will no longer grant shield time, but it will become a primary loot target now that it will also have a share of gold, elixir and dark elixir.
According to Supercell, Town Hall and Clan Castle will count as resource buildings and Goblins will target them for twice the damage. Town Hall loot storage will be equal to one Gold Storage, one Elixir Storage and one-fourth Dark Elixir storage, which will increase by Town Hall Level. A Town Hall can be looted only when it is completely destroyed. That gives players more reasons to protect their Town Halls from both trophy pushers and loot hunters.
TH6 to TH10 loots will also slightly increase, while loots for attacking a TH one level lower will be reduced.
"Clash of Clans" announced in October during the ClashCon that major updates are happening to the game. New Town Hall 11, new defense structure and a new hero are going to be introduced. Supercell has promised a two-week sneak peek schedule, beginning Nov. 23, before the actual release, which many believe to be on Dec. 7.
