"The Walking Dead" will air its last episode before it takes a mid-season break on Sunday, Nov. 29. As things heat up in Alexandria, fans are nervously anticipating which among their favorite characters will make it beyond mid-season. Actress Sonequa Martin-Green recently opened up about her character in the show, Sasha Williams. Will she survive?
Sasha is an original character made for the TV series and does not have a counterpart in the comic books. She's a former firefighter who made her way into Rick's group in season 2. Martin-Green revealed that she created much of the character's backstory with the help of the show's writers. She also shared a crucial tidbit about Sasha's past.
"I've spent a lot of time thinking about Sasha's relationship with her father. She was raised by a war veteran who had no tolerance for weakness and she was very much a daddy's girl," Martin-Green told Bust Magazine. "She was always striving for his approval and wanting to make him proud. That's something that she still carries with her."
As the show spent one whole episode dealing with Morgan's (Lennie James) past in episode 4, fans are anticipating to know more about Sasha in future episodes, if she survives.
Last time viewers saw her, she was with Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz). They have just escaped a group of armed bandits and were making their way back to Alexandria. Spoilers for episode 8 makes no mention of them in the story.
However, The Spoiling Dead Fans did give an announcement not to miss a special after-credits scene, which will feature the three. According to the spoiler, Sasha, Daryl and Abraham will encounter a great danger on their way back.

They will meet a group of bikers who tell them to get out of their van. The leader of the group confiscates their van and weapons, along with every item that they have. He then says, "Everything now belongs to Negan!"
It remains to be seen if the trio will manage to escape, but one thing is certain: the villain Negan is coming after the mid-season break.
"The Walking Dead" season 6, episode 8, titled "Start to Finish," airs on Sunday, Nov. 29, 9 p.m. on AMC.
