"The Walking Dead" star Andrew Lincoln teases the upcoming midseason finale ahead of its premiere. Season 6, Episode 8 "Start to Finish" will air on Sunday, Nov. 29 on AMC.
“There will be blood. The walls come down. And it’s going to be bananas," Lincoln told The Wrap.
Lincoln, who plays the role of the former sheriff and the current pack leader in "The Walking Dead," said that fans should look forward to "The Walking Dead" Season 6B. He considered Episodes 8 and 9 as some of the most "unbelievable and epic" episodes they ever did.
“We just wrapped 24 hours ago on what I think is the darkest and most extraordinary season finale that we’ve ever attempted,” Lincoln said. “To say that I’m excited would be a vast understatement. And it ends with a very big bang.”
"The Walking Dead" Season 6, Episode 8 "Start to Finish" is directed by Michael E. Satrazemis and written by Matthew Negrete.
According to the official synopsis posted on TV Guide, the entire place of Alexandria will remain as peaceful as before. A new obstacle that will be difficult fo for Rick, his team and the citizens of Alexandria in "Start to Finish."
Meanwhile, in an interview with The Wrap, Lincoln confessed about the character he wants to portray if ever he wasn't the zombie-killing Rick Grimes. According to the "Love Actually" actor, the "one heck of a role" of Negan has peaked his curiosity since learning about it. He then continued to praise actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who is set to play the new "Walking Dead" character.
"I know he’s going to be an incredible asset to the show. And he’s also extremely excited," Lincoln said. "He told me he’s been a fan of the show for years and he can’t wait to sink his teeth into the role."
Morgan's Negan character is said to be wielding a baseball bat as his weapon and is the latest villain who will bring hell to the series. It was also reported that he will appear in Season 6 Finale.
