Ubisoft's "Rainbow Six Siege" open beta has finally started after suffering a delay due to server issues. The said issues have affected all the versions of the game and might also affect the release date.
"This Open Beta will ensure the cleanest launch possible. Keep in mind that this beta is intended for this exact reason: find problems and troubleshoot them to ensure the most stable launch possible," Ubisoft stated on its official statement.
"Rainbow Six Siege" second release date was supposed to be in December of this year, but the delay on the open beta means that it may be moved again for the second time if things does not get fixed. When Ubisoft, the game developer, made the announcement through its official website, fans already know what this means. The forum contains the issues that were encountered that caused the delay, which is mainly about "matchmaking times" and "disconnection" issues on all of its platforms. An announcement followed shortly that the open beta will commence on Nov. 26 at 12pm EST, instead of the original Nov 25. The open beta will then run until Nov. 29.
Last September, when the game was undergoing its closed beta test, a similar faith also happened during that time. Server issues were rampant during that testing period that it had to extend the end date twice. So, in this case, fans are expecting to have an extended closing date.
The game was supposed to arrive in October, the original release date, but as Ubisoft stated, they want to put in things that fans had suggested and started to incorporate them with the game. However, the current scenario is causing some fans to worry about the latest installment of the Rainbow Six franchise. Ubisoft is expecting that the game will do great when it gets released.
