"Person of Interest" Season 5 may not premiere until summer of 2016, as CBS recently released its midseason schedule without 'POI' on the list. A report from Carter Matt stated that CBS may be holding off on the show's release date for its truncated season in hopes of boosting the show's ratings.
It has been rumored that 'POI' Season 5 will be the show's last on CBS, with other networks already looking forward to continuing the show's storyline. While fans have more waiting to do to see what awaits the Team Machine in the upcoming season, the cast and crew mentioned several interesting details about the show.
During the New York Comic Con, the cast and crew of "Person of Interest" gave away spoilers and interesting details about the show's upcoming season. One of the most awaited plots in the upcoming season is that of Shaw's (Sarah Shahi) return.
Jim Caviezel, who plays the role of Reese, revealed that his character will feel wary towards Shaw, as her disappearance and sudden return will be a cause of concern among everyone, EW reported. The same cannot be said for Root (Amy Acker), however, as she will continue to believe that she has the capability to turn Shaw back to the way she was before.
In terms of love, the outlet noted that Reese will find love, but it will not last as long. According to the publication, fans and viewers will see Reese continue to grieve over Carter's (Taraji P. Henson) loss.
