"How to Get Away with Murder" season 2 fall finale has just wrapped up but the production is already filming in time for the show's comeback in February. As early as now, spoilers for the second half of the season are already circulating.
"How to Get Away with Murder" executive producer Pete Nowalk confirmed the filming of the second half of season 2, said Vine Report. This early filming could be attributed to the fact that the show will be back early for its midseason premiere on Feb. 11, 2016.
With the many questions raised by the season 2 fall finale, viewers cannot help but think what will happen when HTGAWM comes back after its winter break. The five interns of Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) were out of sorts during season 2, episode 9. Both Connor (Jack Falahee) and Michaela (Aja Naomi King) could no longer take the deceit and the things they have done since they started working for Annalise.
Asher (Matt McGorry), who was devastated by both his dad's death and his accidental killing of Emily Sinclair (Sarah Burns), might just confess to what he has done. On the other hand, Wes (Alfred Enoch) may just resign from his internship after finding out that Rebecca (Katie Findlay) is already dead and in his wrath shot Annalise for not telling him the truth.
Nowalk revealed that at least one of the Keating Five will be missing their intern post, Entertainment Weekly reported.
Meanwhile, what is even more intriguing is the connection between Wes and Annalise. The tough defense lawyer and ex-girlfriend Eve Rothlow (Famke Janssen) apparently knew Wes when he was a kid. Fans can expect this relationship to be explored further in the second half of HTGAWM season 2. It was already revealed that Wes' real name is Cristophe and his mom allegedly committed suicide. But what really happened during that time?
Enoch, who plays Wes, could not give further comments on the plot but he hinted there will be more flashbacks to the past. What the British actor confirmed, however, is Wes not letting Rebecca's death slip. He will not rest until he finds out why his girlfriend is dead and why she was killed.
