HBO has released the first trailer of the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 this week. The Season 5 Finale left fans and viewers wondering what would happen in the next season now that some of the important characters, including Jon Snow, have been eliminated. Speculations about his resurrection circulate all over the Internet, on social media and entertainment websites.
Now the time has come for the next trailer to appear and give answers to our questions. The 40 - second video trailer is more of a teaser featuring the past scenes which will be making a big contribution in the future.
Based on the brand new teaser of the upcoming season published in the CNET, the "You know nothing" phrase is still attached on the show. Anyone who engages in the series knows that there are lots of things to learn from looking at the past.
In the recent months, reports were circulating that the next season is going to focus a bit on the epic battle with the White Walkers. Half of the trailer's video shows Jon Snow's scenes from the last season finale. It was also the time where the White Walkers have unleashed on Hardhome.
The trailer also features the voice-over that comes from Max von Sydow's Three-Eyed Raven. The spirit animal and Bran Stark will probably have something to do with it. The bird's signal means a return to the plotline where the younger Stark was involved. Bran, who was not present in Season 5, is expected to appear in this upcoming season.
There's a recap of the death-loving series between Snow's brooding and Bran's whiteout with a quick flashback of Snow's stabbing, Eddard Stark's beheading, Catelyn Stark's throat-cutting, and Joffrey's poisoning.
There are also scenes of the Daenerys with one of her dragons, Littlefinger's kiss to Sansa Start, White Walker's caressing a baby's face, and the three-eyed raven perching. As you have noticed, the focus is often on the Starks which give us a clue that the next season will bring the family together to dethrone the Lannisters.
The teaser ended with Bran's words saying, "They have no idea what's going to happen."
