"Empire" Season 2 ended dramatic and dark this week. Lucious shoots up his house using an assault rifle after finding out about his removal. Fans would agree that this scene was done in poor taste, considering the recent massive shooting in California, USA.
Lucious is very upset because of his loss and the betrayal of his family. The family has no understanding on how to respond to these new developments, although it is clear to Lucious that he has now lost everything he has. This event has made him take no love from anyone and to become more untrusting, he also begins to say demeaning words to Jamal regardless of his nomination for the Song of the Year. This would make Lucious a difficult person.
This week is really horrific and tragic for "Empire," Anika returned, and ended the Empire's heir. Fans have been seeing Anika cozying up to Rhonda slowly, and this week, she sees Rhonda under the trick of offering an expensive and lovely gift set for their baby. Anika is clearly mentally unstable and pregnant with what she believes as the deserving heir to the throne. She already elaborated and set a story in which she forcefully gets into Rhonda's house, like setting off the security alarm. Rhonda panicked and was pushed down the stairs. The scene was very terrifying, with either Rhonda or the baby dying from the fall. So Empire's fans can't catch their breaths, as they experience tragedy after tragedy.
Rhonda and the heir could possibly be dead, Hakeem ruins the family, and Lucious loses the Empire. Definitely, Anika is crazy and could possibly have killed Rhonda and the baby. Furthermore, Jamal is gay, Thirsty did the "favors" in the elevator, Camilla is the new power, Cookie is frustrated, and Andre may go away after learning about what happens to the family. There's a lot of drama and tragedy for "Empire" season 2 this week, which makes it heavy to watch.
