Google Nexus 7 2016 Tablet: Great Specs at an Affordable Price Continues as Huawei Manufactures Tablet for 2016 Release?

Nexus 7 2016 tablets are said to be made by Huawei.

The Huawei Nexus 6P was released a couple of weeks ago and has garnered positive reviews from the market. Huawei must have pleased Google when it was commissioned to produce the Nexus 6P, which was fully embraced by the public. Now, if all is true, the Chinese phone manufacturing giant is set to produce the 2016 Nexus 7 tablets.

If the Nexus 7 2016 tablet rumors are true, this will be the third generation of the series. The first one was made by Asus in July 2012 and was considered to be the best selling tablet in the market. The formula back then was an impressive specification with an affordable price, Neurogadget reported.

Nexus tablets second generation were released in 2013 and was produced by Asus again. It still had the best price for its specifications, which made it successful once more. Then Google stopped producing tablets, and concentrated more on Nexus phones.

Google, since then, has seemed to stop producing affordable Nexus devices with a good specification, which can be seen clearly with its latest products, the 6Ps 32GB and 64GB variants costing $499 and $549. Google's Nexus 9 by HTC had a price range that started from $399 up to $599.

Huawei, in terms of capabilities, is more than capable of producing decent phones and tablets, which was clearly demonstrated with the Nexus 6P smartphone and with its own latest tablet creation, the X2.

Huawei MediaPad X2 is a 7-inch tablet that is capable of a 1,200 x 1,920 resolution and was released last May 2015. It is powered by a quad-core Huawei Kirin 930 SoC chipset and contains a Mali-T628 for the GPU, with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. Also, it is LTE capable, with a 13MP main camera and a 5MP secondary one.

The Huawei Nexus 7 tablet might be announced at the Google I/O 2016 event, normally held in between May and June, if the rumor will turn out to be true, Weibo reported.
