Movie director J.J. Abrams has been famous for being secretive when it comes to the movie projects that he is making. One of these is the film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It will be recalled that Abrams was being mysterious by giving only a few details when there was some news regarding the absence of Luke Skywalker from the movie trailers and posters, Ecumenical News reported.
During his TV guesting on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, this 49-year old movie director gave only a few details about the Episode VII of the movie franchise, hinting that it is going to give some nods to its movie trilogy, including the particular scene, the cantina, which is similar to the one from Mos Eisley in the "Star Wars: A New Hope."
Abrams also confirmed that he is collaborating with Lin-Manuel Miranda, lyricist and composer of "Hamilton" to create a new music for the new Cantina scene. In a report made by Den of Geek, movie director Abrams also revealed how he was able to talk to Miranda when he took his son to watch "Hamilton," written and conceived by Miranda himself and showcased the composer's brilliance. During the intermission, Miranda came up to him, and after a few exchanges of hi's and hello's, Miranda was reported to have spoken to Abrams about his willingness to write the music for cantina.
Following this brief meeting with Miranda, Abrams started to communicate with Miranda be sending email regarding the creation of the music for the film "The Force Awakens." Fortunately, Miranda appeared to be very much interested of this collaboration which he indicated on his reply saying that he is ready to drop anything for and after some audio samples, the new cantina music was finally made.
