'Days of Our Lives' Cast & Spoilers: Jennifer Aniston to Make a Cameo? Dad John Aniston Says it Would be 'Cute'

Jennifer Aniston may be one of Hollywood's biggest celebrities, but she has a deep connection with the soap opera "Days of Our Lives." Her father, John Aniston, is one of the long-time mainstays of the show, portraying Salem's fan-favorite villain, Victor Kiriakis. Naturally, fans of the soap have been clamoring for Jennifer to appear alongside her father, and John finally addresses the request.

"It would be cute," the actor told Glamour Magazine.

As to what role could her famous daughter play for a day, John jokingly said Jennifer could be Victor's staff member, particularly, a butler.

John also recounted an endearing story when a teenaged Jennifer first worked with him on a show.

"We sort of worked together on 'Search for Tomorrow.' She was an extra," he said, laughing at the memory. "She was 13 or 14 years old. I had her down at the studio one day and Jane Krakowski was on the show and Jennifer was in the green room and met Jane and they were talking."

Back then, he never knew his daughter would make it bigtime in Hollywood, even earning her own star at The Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Interestingly, in Jennifer's breakout show "Friends," Joey Tribianni, one of the main characters, was portrayed as a struggling actor who had a recurring role as Doctor Drake Ramoray on "Days of Our Lives."

John is currently celebrating his 30th year in "DOOL," having played as the powerful Kiriakis patriach since 1985. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry's spoilers for the week, Victor's storyline is still very much included in the show. It seems that the 82-year-old veteran actor has no plans of slowing down.

"I've had a lot of stuff in recent years because they made him sort of a bitch and he has these snappy lines, which are a lot of fun to do," he said.

John has also starred in a total of 40 Broadway and off-theater productions in his long career. Meanwhile, his daughter Jennifer is currently filming two movies for 2016.
