"Days of Our Lives" actor Robert Scott Wilson, who amazingly portrays the role of the Necktie Killer Ben, might be leaving the soap now that his character has been hauled off to prison. Is it the end?
Recently on DOOL, Ben has been brought to the police custody care of Lani and JJ. Abigail has been begging Ben to tell them where he left her baby and it's very important to find her son soon because he is a preemie. Ben was acting more insane and all they got is a clue that he left the baby at a motel. While it's possible that Ben has really lost his mind, it could be just an act so he can get an insanity defense.
While Soaps.com reports that Robert is leaving the daytime soap as Ben Wenston, Soap Shows reveals that this may not really be the last for the disturbed character. Days films the episodes six months before their airing, and Wilson was reportedly seen on set this fall. That could only mean that viewers will still see more of Ben in the coming months.
Additionally, Soap Shows was able to catch up with Wilson who shared that Ben's dirty acts will have some lasting effects for a while.
Late in September, Wilson's probable exit was reported as the storyline for the Necktie Killer winds down. But could it really be the end for Ben? Or will he be able to find his way out of the prison and cause more harm in Salem?
Meanwhile, spoilers tease that Abigail will try to put her life back together after all that she's been through and Chad will be there to comfort her.
"Days of Our Lives" airs every weekdays at 1 p.m. on NBC.
