"Final Fantasy XV" will soon be out.
Recently, it was reported that developers at Square Enix are working on another playable demo for the much awaited "Final Fantasy XV." It was also supposed that the said demo would be the last one before the game is finally released. Along with that news comes a speculation that the demo could either be an updated Episode Duscae demo or something entirely new.
Now, the latest word on "Final Fantasy XV" is that "Square Enix" is now preparing to launch the game in 2016. According to MNR Daily, following the pre-beta held last month for the latest "Final Fantasy" installment, Game Programmer Satoshi Kitade has declared that "Final Fantasy XV" is playable from start to finish. This leads fans to think that the game is already on its final stages of development where programmers at Square Enix could already be working on the polishing touches.
On the game's forums, as translated by Gematsu, Kitade wrote, "We're at the point where we can play the game in its entirety from start to finish. From this, everyone on the development team can get an overall view on the game."
He added, "The first half of the game is finished with the quality of a final product, and you get the sense you're playing it in its final form."
So now the question is, will the company still be releasing that demo? With respect to a specific release date or if the last playable demo would still be released, according to MNR Daily, Square Enix has not made any announcements. But more news are expected to be revealed when "Final Fantasy" director Hajime Tabata and lead game designer Wan Hazmer attend the upcoming Comic Fiesta 2015 in Malaysia on Dec. 19 to 20.
"Final Fantasy XV" will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016.
