iSchoolGuide reports that Hiro Mashima's "Fairy Tail" manga series will uncover many secrets in the life of Zeref Dragneel, specifically his real affiliation with Natsu. In the article, it mentions that "Zeref will purportedly inform the Dragon Slayer about him having originally died 400 years prior, being consequently revived by his sibling's most intense Etherious Natu Dragneel or E.N.D and his part in Igneel's arrangement to demise Acnologia."

For example in Reddit, it is mentioned that Natsu is actually one of the five Dragon Slayers. He has been sent back to the future because of one purpose, and that is "to overcome The Black Dragon."
The revelation of Zeref went on about the details of his parents. He said that they passed away 400 years before the dragon attack. Thus, "resulting in Zeref making the Etherious and succeeded in restoring Natsu as E.N.D."
