Cloud Strife, the protagonist of a game installment by Square's "Final Fantasy VII" that was released 18 years ago for Sony's PlayStation, has been making huge waves since the announcement of his coming to Nintendo's "Super Smash Bros." While he has appeared in full HD in the remake of "Final Fantasy VII," and expected to join the brawl in "Super Smash Bros.," his presence has also been found in another game, or at least his buster sword. Avalanche Studios "Just Cause 3" features the Buster Sword of the "Final Fantasy VII" hero Cloud Strife as an Easter egg. According to Daily Sun, it is Avalanche's way of paying tribute to the best game of all time.
However, finding it may not be too easy as the iconic Buster Sword is pierced deep into the side of a snow-capped mountain. Unfortunately, like Thor's Hammer Easter egg, players cannot use it. However, one can latch on it or step on it. A YouTube video by Arekks Gaming and TheHiddenBlade01 show how to find it.
In the meantime, the issue on when Cloud Strife will finally be available as DLC on "Super Smash Bros." is still being debated. According to Christian Today, many fans assume that Cloud's Strife availability will be announced in a special event that will be held this December. There are also other reports that suggest he will arrive to the great brawl this month.
For those who can't wait to see Cloud in the Nintendo fighting game, you can catch him in the "Final Fantasy VII" PS4 version that is available now, or go up the snowy mountain in "Just Cause 3" and try to find the Buster Sword.
