It's possible that Robbie Amell might return to his superhero role as "Firestorm" in the upcoming series, "Legends of Tomorrow."
According to Comic Book Movie, former "Flash" cast member Robbie Amell has hinted about his "Firestorm" role on Instagram.
Amell posted an image of his Firestorm suit, which he described as his "old friend."
Meanwhile, Amell also addressed Garber as his "ex" in his IG post. It may have hinted on their last TV appearance as the two halves of the superhero "Firestorm" in "The Flash." Amell played the role of Ronnie Raymond while Garber took the character of Dr. Martin Stein. The actor who currently plays as Firestorm is Franz Drameh as Jax Jackson. Both Amell and co-star actor Victor Garber shared their photo together regarding their recent reunion.
Garber added a cryptic caption "reunited and it feels so good" and tagged Amell. The "Alias" actor also included the official Instagram account of "Legends of Tomorrow." Does this mean that Amell will be reunited in the later's current role in the new series?
The outlet noted that Drameh's character appeared in the latest teaser trailers as Firestorm. However, there might be a chance for his return because of the mysterious element of "time-travelling" present in the upcoming series. It was also speculated that because of Drameh's regular role in the series, Amell will only appear for only a few episodes or he will be a part of another combination for Firestorm.
"Legends of Tomorrow" stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Arthur Darvill, Ciara Renée, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller and Falk Hentschel.
"Legends of Tomorrow" will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m. as part of The CW's TV schedule for 2016. "Arrow" and "The Flash" will also return after midseason hiatus.
