Better mark your calendars, TV addicts! The CW just released its TV schedule for upcoming and returning series this January 2016.
Just like their successful adaptation of comic book heroes, The CW continued to stand out among networks as the network also announced the immediate return of their Fall TV series. According to Comicbook.com, the latest news came following the announcement of the winter hiatus of various hit shows from ABC and other networks.
The first month of 2016 will showcase their newest lineup including "Legends of Tomorrow" and the Season 3 premiere of "The 100." Both series are slated to refresh the Thursday TV lineup.
"Reign" will air its remaining three episodes every Fridays this month before the show's indefinite winter hiatus. It will be replaced by "The Vampire Diaries."
The CW moves both vampire series "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Original" to a new timeslot during Fridays while the longtime running "Supernatural" will return to its regular Wednesday schedule.
The network will quench your thirst for superhero series with the simultaneous premieres of "The Flash" on Tuesdays, "Arrow" on Wednesdays and "Legends of Tomorrow" on Thursdays.
Moreover, female-led series will continue to dominate your Monday and Tuesday nights as the brand-new "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," award-winning comedy "Jane the Virgin" and the unique zombie fest series "iZombie."
Here is the full TV schedule of upcoming and returning series starting January 2016:
"Reign" Season 3 will return with a three-episode run on Jan. 8, 15, and 22 at 8 p.m.
"iZombie" Season 2 will return on Tuesday, Jan. 12. at 9 p.m.
"The Flash" Season 2 will return on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
"Arrow" Season 4 will return on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 8 p.m.
"Supernatural" Season 11 will return on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at 9 p.m.
"Legends of Tomorrow" will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 8 p.m.
"The 100" Season 3 will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m.
"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Season 1 will return on Monday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m.
"Jane the Virgin" Season 2 will return on Monday, Jan. 25 at 9 p.m.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will return on Friday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m.
"The Originals" Season 3 will return on Friday, Jan. 29 at 9 p.m.
