Lee Min Ho is one of the top 10 most popular Korean actors in 2015 and surely has a huge fan base all over the world. Unfortunately, there are those who take advantage of the actor's popularity and scam fans.
Most recently, Lee Min Ho's solo talk concert "Minoz World: Minoz Mansion" was rumored to come in Shanghai on Feb. 27, 2016 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Apparently, the Shanghai concert is not true and only Korea and Japan shows have been confirmed so far.
Soompi.com has reported that in response to the false advertised concert, Lee Min Ho's agency, Starhaus Entertainment, released a statement saying:
"We have confirmed that as of December 12 2015, under the title of ["Actor Lee Min Ho's Shanghai Concert"], people are scalping tickets (unauthorized tickets) in many regions of China. All information regarding the sales of Lee Min Ho's concert tickets is announced through its official website. Therefore, it is illegal to purchase tickets through channels other than ones listed on the official website. It is our hope that no one will suffer any disadvantages by dealing with scalpers."
"[We will] take relevant measures for the touted Shanghai show," a spokesperson for Starhaus also said, according to KDramaStars. "While the Shanghai concert that was [reportedly] offered to Lee is being reviewed, the one [organizer] has never even been in contact."
Lee Min Ho's concert in Korea is scheduled on Jan. 16 at the Grand Peace Palace, while his Japan performance is on Jan. 25. Soompi.com said there is a plan to bring Lee Min Ho in a Shanghai stage as well, but that is yet to be confirmed. Hence, fans are being warned not to purchase any tickets from unofficial sellers particularly at premium prices.
Lee Min Ho is currently filming for "Bounty Hunters" and has recently released a new album titled "The Day."
