When "The Flash" season 2 returns next month, another hero, in the form of Jay Garrick, will be using his skills again to try and save Central City from a new threat.
Teddy Sears, the actor playing Jay Garrick, was spotted in his costume filming in Vancouver. The tweet by YVRShoots mentioned that "The Flash" season 2 was filming with Jay Garrick and a meta-human. The tweet also mentioned that the meta-human spotted could be Geomancer.
The said post comes with a picture of Sears wearing his speedster suit while the meta-human was in an ash-colored suit. More pictures were posted in the said account regarding the filming but there were no conclusive statements regarding the meta-human's identity, although there was a particular picture taken showing the villain touching the ground.
Geomancer's power comes from Geokinesis, which enables him to control and move the ground he stands on. Therefore, there is a chance that the meta-human shooting in Vancouver is indeed Geomancer.
In "The Flash" season 2, episode 8, Jay Garrick was temporarily able to use his speedy powers when he took in a serum by Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Earth-Two Wells (Tom Cavanagh). However, before the episode ended, Jay promised he would no longer use the serum. That promise apparently will be broken as these new spoiler images surfaced.
If a hero is back to his saving-the-world duties, another "The Flash" character's life is in danger. The video preview for "The Flash" season 2, episode 10 titled "Potential Energy," shows Patty Spivot (Shantel Vansanten) in grave danger.
The promos established how Barry and Patty's relationship is going well with the former even contemplating on revealing his true identity to his girlfriend. However, things will quickly turn for the worse as Patty is abducted by Zoom. Although it is not clear whether Zoom is just planning to hostage Patty to get to The Flash or not, viewers could not be too unruffled because the villain is capable of deadly deeds.
"The Flash" season 2 will return to The CW on Jan. 19, 2016.
