Samsung Galaxy A9 is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2016. This will be an additional member of the ever growing number of smartphones being released by the South Korean tech giant.
Samsung Galaxy A9 rumors are saying that it will be announced on the upcoming CES 2016 especially that the company has made it known that a press conference is scheduled on Jan. 5 and will be at 2:00 to 2:45pm. The CES 2016 event will officially start on Jan. 6, the International Business Times reported.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 is said to be sporting a 5.5-inch full-HD AMOLED screen, capable of 1920 x 1080 resolution and with a 401 pixel per inch density. It is an upgrade of the Galaxy A8 and will also sport a metal body. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor is said to be powering the Samsung Galaxy A9 device, clocking at 1.8 GHz. It also comes with an Adreno 510 graphics engine.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy A9 will also come with a 3GB of RAM, and a 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via a microSD slot. For the camera, a 16 MP will be at the back, complete with HDR and autofocus, while a 5 MP one will occupy the front. Out of the box, Samsung Galaxy A9 will be loaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. GPS, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 LE are also said to be available for the device, MNR Daily reported.
In a previous report, the Samsung Galaxy A9 was said to be spotted on a website that records imports and exports in India. Samsung Galaxy A9 was recorded as a Samsung phone, model SM-A9000, and was sent to India for research and development purposes.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 manufacturer is not saying anything about the products they will be announcing on the upcoming CES 2016 event.
