Apple Watch 2 may arrive in March 2016, and consumers will be having it in their hands by April. It is said that it may also come in with a bunch of new features, such as a camera and its own wireless connection.
An Apple source has shared the company's plans. He gave several information concerning a few future Apple products, and one of them is the Apple Watch 2. The Redmond-based tech giant is planning to announce the second-generation watch by March 2016, which is less than a year since they announced the first one, 9TO5Mac reported.
The Apple Watch 2 may include some nifty features, which has been developed way back. This includes a FaceTime video camera for video calls and conference, its own Wi-Fi connection for independent apps like e-mail and weather updates, as well as a better battery life for longer usage. It is also said that sleep tracking and additional health sensor technologies will also be added to the Apple Watch 2.
If the March 2016 unveiling will push through, it will then be the second time in a row that Apple has had it. Previous events were held on the second half of the year.
Additionally, Apple is also said to have another variant of its smartphone, a smaller one, the iPhone 6c with a 4-inch display. This is due to several requests that the company should bring back the iPhone 5 and the sixth-gen iPod touch small screen size. The technical specifications of this phone are said to be in the middle of an iPhone 5s and an iPhone 6s.
Other Apple Watch 2 reports are also saying that it will be launched late in the second quarter of 2016, and only a small batch can be shipped immediately. The majority of the shipment will then happen by the third quarter of next year, MacRumors reported.
