Apple won't be releasing new products in the coming year but the company made some improvements of their merchandise. The only exception for this will be the iPhone, if the company follows their nearly decade old pattern.
CNET reported that the iPhone devices may get an overhaul in 2016 if they stick to their pattern. This should indicate an introduction of a redesigned iPhone next year. In September, Apple released the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. This brings modest internal changes to the company with its every other year "S" cycle.
Every Apple consumer only wants one thing: a longer battery life. This might be possible when the iPhone 7 arrives. To address the issue regarding battery life when iPhone 6S didn't meet the expected battery boost over the iPhone 6, Apple created Smart Battery Case which was considered bulky.
Rumors about the iPhone 7 includes the removal of the home button letting the producers pack a wider display into a smaller package. The new device should be lighter and thinner. A Lightning connector is included in the rumor mill which serves as the universal port for the headphone jack and power cord. A waterproof Apple device might materialize in the release of the iPhone 7 something Samsung Galaxy S5 had done.
Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster said, "It would make sense to replace the aging 5S and would make the device lineup cleaner," regarding the reports suggesting a 4-inch iPhone. Apple also planned pushing their developers to build more useful apps for Apple Watch in 2016.
According to Stuff, the iPad Air 3 will be released in March 2016. From KGI Security analyst that the production of the most anticipated 3D Touch is still falling behind. Apple's suppliers won't be able to deliver the demand in time for the Air 3 release. Other reports claimed Apple is planning to debut the Apple Watch 2 in March and a smaller iPhone 6 sometime next year.
