The Force Awakens at Spotify’s Lightsaber Progress Bar and Star Wars Characters' Playlist

The Force is definitely strong with Spotify. The music streaming site has jumped on the Star Wars bandwagon and created a lightsaber progress bar and a special site where users can listen to Star Wars Character's Playlist.

Here is how to unlock the lightsaber progress bar, according to Irish Examiner:

1. Open Spotify's desktop client.
2. Search for 'Complete Star Wars Soundtrack' in the library.
3. S
tart playing.

It is as easy as that. Users may also choose three different lightsaber models just by clicking the lightsaber's hilt. The effect stays in place until the Spotify is restarted, so users can add a Star Wars feel while listening to their favorite music.

Just recently, Spotify lauched a site that matches the user with a Star Wars character based on their listening history where each character has their own playlist too.

A report from The Independent stated that to access Spotify Star Wars characters, the user just have to log in to their account and let the site analyze what the user has been listening to. Afterwards, the site will let them know their character based on their most visited bands.

Nobody knows what music the Star Wars characters are listening since they are all but fictional. But according to the report, the Spotify list goes something like this:

Han Solo -- Classic Country Rock, Bro Country, Modern Hip Hop
Luke Skywalker -- Modern Pop
Yoda -- Focus
Anakin Skywalker (Episode I) -- Kids Bop
Anakin Skywalker (Episode II - III) -- Emo
Darth Vader -- Early Metal
Padme Amidala -- Girl Power
Princess Leia -- Shimmer Pop, 80s Power Pop
Darth Maul -- Grizzly Death Metal, Thrash Groove Metal, Gangsta Rap
Qui-gon Jinn -- Progressive Rock
Jar Jar Binks -- Jam Bands
Mace Windu -- Nu-metal, Hip Hop
Obi-wan Kenobi (Episode I - III) -- Brit Rock, Hip Hop
Obi-wan Kenobi (Episode IV - VI) -- British Invasion
Chewbacca -- Hair Metal
Imperial Stormtrooper -- Anthem Rock

And the list goes on.

This will tickle people's minds in imagining how these characters look like while listening to their music.
