The Great Xbox One Sale Starts Today; 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' Included!

Microsoft has released what it is characterizing as its largest Xbox games sale ever, with "hundreds and hundreds" of Xbox 360 and Xbox One games discounted.

The yearly Christmas sale once again takes place as week-long offers, starting now till Dec. 28, at the same time everyday flash sales on chosen titles. During the sale, Gold subscribers can avail of "Halo 5" at 20 percent discount (now £35.99) or "Rise of the Tomb Raider" now only £33.49. At £16.59 "Rare Replay" could be purchased.

Today's sale are for a "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare" (half price) and "Peggle 2," this 2015 is not good for "Need for Speed" it is sold at 60 percent off and classic "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit" on Xbox 360 sold at 80 percent off.

Independent Xbox One titles like "Telltale's new Minecraft: Story Mode" at third off, like others and "Don't Starve: Giant Edition" for the entire season. "The Witcher 3" and "Ori and the Blind Forest" is sold at 50 percent off. There are also games offered at 70 percent off, Lego Games, which is excellent for the Christmas holidays.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" was given a surprise demo by Microsoft at the Xbox Store on Sunday night. Video game demos are rare especially in this generation, although Lara Croft's timed exclusive journey is now downloadable. "The Rise of the Tomb Raider" demo is at 20.8GB for Xbox One, which is the precise equal size as the complete video game. This is all good news is that it will be a laidback unlock if gamers will buy the game.

Microsoft is ending 2015 with a big bang! The year-end sale today would definitely make fans rejoice.
