OnePlus 2 will soon be receiving the latest OxygenOS 2.2.0. Reportedly, this update will remedy the previously reported issues coming from the flagship phone. The update contains several fixes for major bugs found in the previous OXygen OS.

OxygenOS 2.2.0 for OnePlus 2 will bring satisfaction to its users upon its arrival since it will be able to fix several issues that haunted the flagship phone with the last operating system. One of the fixes is for the dual-SIM preference issue, the most common problem for its users, as posted on OnePlus forum.

OnePlus 2 users also had a problem with external storage being attached to its OTG (on-the-go) port. Support for NTFS and exFAT has been added. Google Camera issues, such as photo-sphere and panorama bugs, will also be taken cared of by the fix.

Minor fixes include hiding the search bar option, screen temperature adjustment and several more bug fixes. The update will also be installing optimization features on the said phone. Plus, since it is the season to be jolly, OnePlus also included several Christmas holiday wallpapers in the update. Security patches were also incorporated.

The OnePlus 2 is a 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 IPS LCD screen that has 401 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 810 and comes with an Adreno 430 GPU. It comes with 3GB and 4GB RAM that also offers 16GB and 64GB of storage space, respectively, GSM Arena reported.

A 13 MP main camera is present in the device and comes with a dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, OIS, laser autofocus while the front contains a 5 MP with f/2.4 aperture. It also contains a 3300 mAh battery that is said to endure 61 hours of standby time.

OnePlus users are hoping that the company will rollout updates and patches on a regular basis, something that other flagship phone owners from competing brands experience.
