There have been reports saying that 2016 is going to be a big year for the Apple especially if it releases the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and the iPhone 6C models with all the rumored bumped up specs.
According to Design and Trend, apple could already be working on the next line of cellphones. There have also been speculations on the possibility that the new iPhones would be released earlier than the pattern that Apple has established with its previous releases.
In addition, Apple Insider has given a recap of previous releases, saying that ever since the iPhone 5 was released on Sept. 21, 2012, succeeding iPhone models get launched in a late September window. iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus reportedly hit the market on Sept 25. Furthermore, the publication reminds Apple fans that the iPhone 4 and the earlier iPhone generations were launched in summer, either in June or July. The only exception is the iPhone 4s that came out in October.
Whether the next iPhone models will launch in summer next year or still follow a September release, fans can expect a more ambitious model of iPhone. According to the rumors, Apple is focusing on giving the next iPhone better camera, thinner design and an edgeless screen.
According to Design and Trend, the tech giant allegedly has employed a massive team to work on a state of the art camera for the next generation iPhone. Furthermore there have been reports that the new iPhones will be the thinnest ever, not to mention waterproof. In order for apple to make this new iPhone super thin, it is being rumored that the headphones will be plugged into the lightning port because the universal headphone jack will be removed.
This theory was also discussed in The Week adding that with the new thin iPhones, Apple might as well come up with a wireless "smart headset." The online publication also mentions that the next release might feature a screen that extends all the way around the device as Apple has reportedly filed a patent on Sept 29 for the so called "sidewalls display."
One of the repercussions of releasing the next iPhone early, with all those specs, is the possibility that the iPhone 6s and 6s plus would rapidly lose demand. Are you excited for the next gen iPhones anyway?
