Grimm Season 5 Spoilers: Nick and Adalind Kiss! Show Returns January 29

"Grimm" Season 5 returns on Jan. 29 and recent promotional photos for all-new episodes of the series tease of surprising twists and drama for the team. For one, Nick and Adalind seem to be getting closer as they share a passionate kiss.

One of the photos shows Lucien Petrovich (Bailey Chase), the leader of a Wesen revolutionary group, as per TV Line. And then Meisner and Trubel seem to be having a fist fight. As what can be recalled, the former Hexenbeist pretended to be Juliette, Nick's then girlfriend. They slept together and Adalind ended up pregnant. With Juliette presumed dead, and Adalind being the mother of Nick's baby, could the Grimm finally be developing affections for her? But then, Juliette has surprisingly returned to the show, as a different person though. That's what left fans hanging during the mid-season finale. And it would be interesting how her come back would play in Nick and Adalind's lives now. Well, it's not exactly Juliette. She has Juliette's body and everything that Juliette knows, but she is now Eve, TV Line said in another report.

Bitsie Tulloch, who plays Juliette, said of her new role as Eve, "Juliette's flesh and blood, her DNA, is still alive. But this is not Juliette." She "is a weapon," Tulloch added. "She is very badass, and she's almost robotic... It's not so much that she's ruthless, it's that she's very calculated and all she's focused on is getting the job done." Still, everyone is surprised by seeing Juliette again, especially Nick. Tulloch dished, "There is a pretty pivotal scene with Nick at some point after the new year, where they sit down and try to discuss what the hell is going on, because he's obviously confused."
