A surge of excitement surrounds the hit game "Destiny" as the Holidays are expected to see a number of free and exotic items that are set to arrive. The first ones to arrive last weekend were the exotic armor and weapons via the Xur while the New Year promises free loot for the game.
The upcoming free loot for the game was officially announced through a blog post on Bungie's official website where the developer specifically stated that they will arrive with the postmaster on the 7th of January next year. In addition, the developer also stated on its blog that the free loot will be available for players as another form of gift card.
The free loot, however, requires players to make sure that their log jam is cleaned before the items will turn up. As soon as they have got the loot, gamers can continue on to the tower and purchase items from Xur. When it comes to the particular items in the loot, it comprises of 15 odd coins as well as 15 light motes.
Furthermore, Bungie implied that an emblem will be provided for gamers who log in to and play the game from Jan. 7 to 10, 2016. However, gamers will have to make sure that they participate in any activity in the "Director" segment if they wish to get it.
The Christmas weekend which lasted from December 25th to 27th also revealed Xur returning to the Tower. More specifically, the popular character was located at a door at the Tower North. He emerged opposite to the Speaker to trade his wares, consisting of Exotic armor like the Armamentarium model used by the Titans. Furthermore, additional Exotic armor objects were seen, including the Ram helmet as well as the boots called Bones of Eao, Ecumenical News reported.
Lastly, the Exotic weapons that Xur had made available are known as the MIDA Multi-Tool, which were featured throughout the year, have received an update during the year two.
