"Pretty Little Liars" season 6, episode 11 will feature a five-year jump from when the show was last seen, but it seems that the Liars are back to their old habits as they reunite in Rosewood while Aria apparently is back with a new love in tow as well.
Before the five-year jump, the girls were last seen saying their farewells to each other as all of them left for college, except for Ali (Sasha Pieterse) who stayed behind in Rosewood. By the end of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6, episode 10, Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), and Emily (Shay Mitchell), having found a new life after college, all went back to Rosewood to warn Ali of a new threat they called a "he."
The synopsis released for "Pretty Little Liars" season 6, episode 11, hinted at how the new lives of the four women have gathered new secrets that could be exploited by another threat. When they reunite in Rosewood, there will be a clash between their old habits and who they are at present that will make them "join forces" once again.
This plot synopsis is not exactly the real mystery. It is almost a certainty that the Liars will be doing a few more rounds of sleuthing to find out who the new threat is. What will be more interesting to find out is, who is this new threat and why is he doing it?
Since the ladies have all found a new life and with the significant time jump, questions are afloat as to how their romances fared over the years. The most heartbreaking for fans perhaps is the realization that Aria is no longer with Ezra (Ian Harding). In the photos recently released for the show, Aria seems to be flirting with a guy from her workplace, Liam (Robert Aguirre).
It looks like Aria is not the only one leaving old boyfriends behind, though. Hanna is engaged, not to Caleb (Tyler Blackburn), but to Jordan (David Coussins) while Spencer has broken up with Toby (Keegan Allen). Ali, on the other hand, has found love and married Dr. Rollins (Huw Collins).
