"Durarara!! ×2 The Third Arc" is the next installment of anime adaptation of Ryohgo Narita's light novel saga. The new series will be streamed via Crunchyroll as it airs on Japanese television on Jan. 9, 2016 at exactly 11:00 a.m EST.
According to Anime News Network, Crunchyroll has announced that it will stream "Durarara!! ×2 The Third Arc" on January 9 as the anime series will be broadcasted in Japan. The media distribution service company will make the anime series be available in "North America, Central America, South America, the United Kingdom, and Ireland."
ANN says that "Durarara!! ×2 The Third Arc" or "Durarara!! x 2 Ketsu" is 3rd and final installment of "Durarara!! ×2." The first installment titled "Durarara!!×2 Shō" or "understanding" was released January 2015. The series had for 12 episodes. The second installment was "Durarara!!×2 Ten" or "motion" had premiered in July 2015, and also had 12 episodes.
Crunchyroll has "Durarara!! ×2 The Third Arc" full synopsis, which reads: "Ikebukuro is engulfed in a spiral of confusion. A group of individuals, each carrying the weight of their own past, gathers at Shinra's apartment, while in the city the Dollars, Yellow Scarves, and Saika contend for power. However, the situation takes a turn that no one could expect when Celty's head is revealed to the public, as this tale approaches its conclusion."
Report says that Takahiro Omori returns to helm "Durarara!! x 2 Ketsu." The original cast of the anime series has also joined back to reprise their roles. Miyuki Sawashiro is back to portray Celty Sturluson, Toshiyuki Toyonaga will do the role of Mikado Ryugamine, and Hiroshi Kamiya as Izaya Orihara.
News Hub also mentions that "Durarara!! x 2 Ketsu" available on Daisuki, Hulu, and Aniplex Channel.
Aside from the anime adaptation of Ryohgo Narita's "Durarara!!," the manga series is also ongoing and is still written by Narita. The manga is still illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, who has been with Narita since the beginning of the light novel
