‘Frozen 2’ Cast Rumors: Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach to Voice a Princess Character in Disney Film Sequel?

After being crowned Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach is now being linked to the Disney film sequel "Frozen 2" as a possible cast to voice a new princess character.

According to Parent Herald, the newly-crowned Miss Universe 2015 is rumored to be the new addition to "Frozen 2." The rumor started when Jimmy Mulligan, a Disney artist, drew the Filipina beauty queen as a Disney Princess.

Mulligan posted the "Disneyfied" illustration of the new Miss Universe on his Instagram account last week. Although the post did not say anything about Wurtzbach being cast in the sequel of the blockbuster Disney film, people started to speculate that she would be included in "Frozen 2." This is because the animator included the hashtag "#Frozen" when he published the illustration.

There is no confirmation to this rumor from either Disney or Miss Universe's side so fans are advised to take it with a grain of salt.

Wurtzbach has been the Miss Universe for only over a week but she has already flown to New York to start her duties. She has been in some interviews and photo shoots. After the holidays, her schedule is expected to become more hectic.

Miss Universe is said to be not just about interviews and pictorials, so after the New Year holiday, fans of the 26-year-old Filipina can see her flying to different locations to do charity works. With such a tight schedule, working on a film may just take the backburner for now.

Out of 80 contestants, Pia Wurtzbach rose to the top and is the runaway winner of the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, which ended in a controversy. Host Steve Harvey announced the wrong winner in the Dec. 20 live telecast creating a huge scandal. Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez, the first runner-up, was wrongfully called the winner.

After the error, Harvey, the organizers and the judges were quick to correct the mistake, proving that it is really Wurtzbach who won.
