'The Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Billy Abbott In Coma As He Transition From Burgess Jenkins To Jason Thompson?

"The Young And The Restless" spoilers for Monday, Jan. 4 tease that Billy Abbott played by Burgess Jenkins will be in a critical medical condition, he will be in a coma. According to Soap Opera Spy, Jill is very upset because everyone in the hospital seems to be giving up on Billy.

Celebrity Dirty Laundry shared that last Thursday's episode, Billy was beaten up at the hands of his bookie's henchmen and then he got accidentally run down by Noah. Marisa was the one who helped out Billy. But then, Marisa will soon be on the hot spot as Paul will begin his investigation.

It has been reported that at the police station, Paul asked Marisa regarding updates on what she was doing at the crime scene. Marisa was certain that she saw Noah. However, she told Paul that it was too dark for her to see anyone. To a point that she even said that she hardly saw Billy. Clearly, Marisa kept her mouth shut about what Noah did and opted to protect him.

What happened was just an accident. Noah had the car on reverse and he had no idea that Billy was behind him.

Victoria thinks that there was no one to be blamed with what happened but Billy himself. Phyllis and Jack listen as Victoria rants about it. Phyllis defended Billy and said that the money was intended for his business venture. Phyllis even said that both Jack and Victoria pushed Billy to where he is right now. But it seems like Victoria already had enough of Billy actions.

It has been reported that Noah will try to come out clean and tell the truth. But then, Billy's machine start beeping and Victoria calls for the doctors. It looks like Noah will carry on the guilt with him for quite some time.

Meanwhile, according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Billy's near-death medical crisis is the show's way to make the transition of Burgess Jenkins to Jason Thompson. Billy will most likely have a slim chance to survive. But then, everyone knows that Billy will make it out alive, with a new face.

It will be interesting to know how TPTB will make the big switch. In the hospital bed, it is still clear that Billy is Jenkins, the show will probably come up with something to make the change real and applicable to the present scenario. Unless there will be a sudden need for plastic surgeon in order for the new Billy to come out alive. When it comes to soap opera, nothing is impossible.
