"Supergirl" released three more clips for Season 1 Episode 9 "Blood Bonds." It will air on Monday, Jan. 4 at 9 p.m.
According to Coming Soon, the ninth episode of "Supergirl" will mark the midseason premiere of the superheroine TV series starring Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers AKA Supergirl.
"Supergirl" Season 1 Episode 9 "Blood Bonds" will be directed by Steve Shill and written by Ted Sullivan and Derek Simon.
"Blood Bonds" will start off with Kara keeps on hiding her true self. Her boss Cat (Calista Flockhart) continues to accuse her that she is actually Supergirl.
She will also try to save her friend Hank Henshaw (David Harewood), who is currently in a "tense standoff" with Non (Chris Vance). It was after the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO) captured Non's wife, Astra (Laura Benanti). Non was also featured on the third clip from CBS. He also wants to find out the secrets behind Martian Manhunter.
Movie Web reported that the first clip features an argument between Maxwell Lord and Alex (Chyler Leigh) as a lockdown was implemented at a crime scene.
"Supergirl" will feature an array of new characters upon its return. Movie Web elaborated that the character Winslow Schott or "Toyman," which will be portrayed by Jeremy Jordan.
Aside from Jordan, "Chasing Life" star Italia Ricci will join the cast as a villain against "Supergirl." The actress will play the role of "Silver Banshee."
The "Supergirl" cast includes Melissa Benoist (Kara Danvers/Supergirl), Mehcad Brooks (James Olsen), Laura Benanti (Alura Zor-El), Calista Flockhart (Cat Grant), Chyler Leigh (Alexandra “Alex” Danvers), Jeremy Jordan (Winslow “Winn” Schott), Jenna Dewan Tatum (Lucy Lane), David Harewood (Hank Henshaw), Peter Facinelli (Maxwell Lord), Dean Cain (Jeremiah Danvers) and Helen Slate (Eliza Danvers).
"Supergirl" Season 1 Episode 9 "Blood Bonds" airs on Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
